The latest Rambo film, Last Blood, has got the leftist regressive media in a frenzy because it’s apparently racist, too violent and full of toxic masculinity.
So great to see a franchise not sell out its fans for the leftist agenda unlike the garbage that is the new LGBT Terminator or the woke feminist Batman series.

First Blood was too early for me but I have seen it since and it is a well crafted movie.
However, by the time the editted version of Part ii made it to network television I was ready to be completely won over. I got the knife, as I said and have very clear memories of sticking it in the ground and using the compass and opening it up and using the "survival" stuff inside.
And of course taping the movie and watching it over and over.

Best scene in this by far is when Rimbaud recites some of his most moving and prosaic prose in the fading candle light of a peasant hearth, as a kitten nuzzles about in an overripe fruit bowl.

Check out the real actor in the family - Frank.
His roles as Hack Stone in Terror in Beverly Hills and especially The Black Knight in The Rollerblade Seven are choice.

Can't see him getting round to making ANOTHER rambo film after this, sure he has another couple of Rocky (sorry Creed) films to bang out yet.

I went to watch this last night on a freebie. Way over the top gore and violence, topping even the Burma one, and a very memorable death in it.
I quite enjoyed it - 6.5/10
No more though please.
